This exhibition invites visitors into a quiet world shaped by bridges, courtyards, scholar’s rocks and water towns – not as tourist scenes, but as an inner landscape where the mind can slow down and breathe.
This is not a show about “Chinese gardens”, but a show about a state of mind. Created between 2017–2020, these paintings reflect the artist’s search for stillness while living in fast-growing Shanghai. Today, shown in Malta, they echo something many of us recognise: the need for a place that restores clarity, presence, and balance.
