About the Plant
Known in Malta as bużbież, wild fennel is an indigenous aromatic plant commonly found along roadsides, rural paths, abandoned fields and disturbed ground. Its yellow umbels flower from May to October, and its seeds have a naturally sweet, distinctly fennel-like flavour.
