About the Plant

Known in Maltese as tulliera komuni, false yellowhead is indigenous to the Maltese Islands and grows on disturbed land, abandoned fields, steppe and coastal ground. It flowers from September to November; its glandular leaves and stems are distinctly sticky and have a strong, camphor-like scent.
