About the Plant

Known in Maltese as Narċis or Ranċis, this indigenous bulb grows in valleys, uncultivated fields and garigue where enough soil has accumulated. From October to March, each stem bears a fragrant cluster of three to fifteen white flowers, each with a small yellow or orange cup.
