About the Plant

Known in Maltese as Qarn il-mogħża, evergreen honeysuckle is indigenous to the Maltese Islands and grows in valleys, on rocky slopes and among maquis vegetation. It flowers in April and May, producing clusters of tubular flowers that are whitish-yellow, often flushed with pink or red, followed by red berries.
