About the Plant

Known locally as margerita salvaġġa, the southern daisy is an indigenous perennial found in moist, partially shaded places in Malta’s valleys, thickets and rocky banks. Its white or pink-tinged flowers bloom from November to February, bringing colour to the cold winter wind.
