About the Plant
Leontodon tuberosus
An indigenous Mediterranean perennial found in Malta’s rocky ground, garigue and open countryside. Its yellow flowers appear from autumn into early spring, while slender tubers beneath the soil allow it to survive the islands’ long, dry summer.
