About the Plant
Antirrhinum tortuosum (formerly classified under Antirrhinum majus)
Known in Malta as papoċċi ħomor, the Greater Snapdragon is an indigenous plant of rocky places, old walls and waysides. Its violet, mouth-shaped flowers can appear from November into early summer, bringing colour to crevices and neglected ground.
